Heads-up on a board of 2♦6♣2♣8♠, Alan Strouf bet 15,000 from the small blind and Tom Sternod called on the button.
Strouf bet another 30,000 on the Q♥ river, but this time Sternod moved all in. Strouf had around 25,000 remaining and tanked for a minute before folding.
Heads-up on a board of K♦9♠8♦2♣, Frank Lucero bet 5,500 from under the gun and Jeff Bowen called in the big blind.
The river was the K♣ and Bowen led out for 13,000. Lucero then raised to 30,000, and Bowen quickly called.
Lucero showed A♥K♠ for trips, but Bowen had filled up with K♥2♦ to win the big pot. "Amazing, bro. Some people are bush league," Lucero lamented after the hand.
Leighton Lindsey put in a three-bet to 2,500 from the cutoff before Monty Klistoff four-bet to 10,200 in the small blind. The big blind called, while Lindsey then moved all in. Klistoff snap-called for 27,000, while the big blind got out of the way.

Klistoff had Lindsey crushed with his aces, and the board ran out 10♥9♥6♠6♦K♣ to earn him the double up.
"We're back! How 'bout that, cowboy!" Klistoff shouted out as he raked in the pot.
Mark Britton raised to 800 under the gun and received one caller before Pat Brunelle three-bet to 3,000 in middle position. Roger Old Mouse called on the button, as did Britton.
The 10♦3♦2♦ flop was checked through, and Brunelle then bet 5,000 on the A♥ turn. Only Old Mouse called.
Brunelle checked the 10♥ river, and Old Mouse bet 8,000. Brunelle quickly called.
"Missed. I had to try it," Old Mouse said as he showed K♥Q♦. Brunelle turned over Q♠Q♥ and took in the pot.

Paul Spitler just scored one of the first knockouts of the day in a big cooler, and he happily relayed the details.
According to Spitler, he opened to 900 and received two callers before the cutoff three-bet to 25,000. Spitler called, and the cutoff moved all in blind for another 25,000 before the jack-high flop. Spitler called with two aces, and his opponent could only show two kings and couldn't catch up as he was sent to the rail.
Damon Muehl three-bet to 2,100 in the cutoff and was called by a player in early position and Josh Egle in the hijack.
The flop came A♠K♠5♦ and Muehl continued for 2,000. Only Egle called to the 9♥ turn, where Muehl bet another 2,500. Egle again called.
Both players checked the Q♣ river, and Muehl showed A♦10♦ for top pair, Egle, though, had turned two pair with A♣9♣ to win the pot.
Pat Davey three-bet to 3,000 in the big blind and was called by Leighton Lindsey under the gun and Monty Klistoff in middle position.
The flop came 3♥4♦5♥ and Davey bet 2,000. Lindsey then raised to 4,000, and both Klistoff and Davey called.
Lindsey bet another 4,000 on the K♠ turn, and both opponents again called. The river was the 9♦ and Lindsey bet 7,000. Klistoff folded this time, but Davey called once more.
Davey showed A♦K♣ for top pair, and Lindsey also flashed an ace before mucking.
Defending champion Dan Burcham recently took his seat in the field.
In a battle between the blinds, Santi Poggi led out for 1,500 on a flop of 4♥K♦K♥ before Mike Morgan raised to 3,000. Poggi called, and they saw the turn come the 9♣.
Morgan then bet another 3,000, but Poggi came back with a raise to 11,000. Morgan folded, and Poggi showed 7♣7♥ as he took the pot.
