"I've been playing with you all day, I'm sure you have aces," Thornton said regretfully as he called and flipped {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

It was only {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} though, and Thornton held on as the board ran out {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.
