Dinner Break, Final Table

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

With 10 players left, the clock has been paused with 24:57 left in Level 21 and the dinner break has been called. The players will return in 45 minutes to receive congratulations from RunGood and their invitations to the Poker After Dark freeroll at the end of the season.

Before going to dinner, the players redrew for seats. We will post the new seat assignments with chip counts shortly.

Randy Rittenbush Eliminated in 11th Place ($3,181)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Randy Rittenbush
Randy Rittenbush

Randy Rittenbush opened for 60,000 and picked up two callers in Shane Fuller and Nic Petree. The flop came {q-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and everyone checked. The dealer turned the {2-Spades} and Fuller led for 80,000. Petree folded, then Rittenbush shoved for 250,000. Fuller thought for a few seconds and then called to put Rittenbush at risk.

Fuller - {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Rittenbush - {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Rittenbush found himself all in and behind Fuller's bigger pair and flush draw, with just one out to stay alive. It doesn't arrive when the board is completed with the {5-Diamonds} and Rittenbush hits the rail.

For his 11th-place finish, Rittenbush goes home $3,181 richer.

Vinodkumar Kumar Eliminated in 12th Place ($3,181)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Vinodkumar Kumar
Vinodkumar Kumar

Randy Ritterbush opened from early position only to have Vinodkumar Kumar shove all-in for not much more.

"I have a terrible hand," Ritterbush said, even while making the call.

Kumar - {6-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Ritterbush - {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

It's the best possible scenario for Ritterbush, as he has two live overcards to Kumar's pair. The flop comes in Ritterbush's favor, {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Kumar will need running clubs or a six to remain in the tournament.

Help failed to arrive as the turn brought the {5-Spades} and the river was the {4-Clubs}.

Kumar goes out in 12th place and will take home $3,181.

Kurt Haiss Eliminated in 13th Place ($2,399)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Kurt Haiss
Kurt Haiss

Kurt Haiss shipped it all in for 240,000 and Nic Petree reshipped for more. Randy Ritterbush got out of the way and the hands were turned up.

Haiss - {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Petree - {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}

"Oh, that's no good," Haiss commented after seeing Petree's hand.

Neither player improved as the board ran out {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Haiss made his way out of the tournament area. For his efforts this weekend, Haiss will take home $2,399.

Felix "Frank" Kennedy Eliminated in 14th Place ($2,399)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Felix "Frank" Kennedy
Felix "Frank" Kennedy

Felix Kennedy open-shipped for around 200,000 chips and Nic Petree re-shoved in late position. The blinds folded and the hands were turned up.

Kennedy - {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Petree - {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

It's a race with Kennedy's tournament at risk. The flop came {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades}, little help to Kennedy. The turn brought a sweat with the {6-Spades}. Kennedy could catch an ace, king, or spade to stay alive. None of them arrived when instead the river came the {7-Hearts}.

For his deep run in the Main Event, Kennedy will take home $2,399.

Eric Kelly Eliminated in 15th Place ($2,399)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Eric Kelly
Eric Kelly

We missed the hand, but Eric Kelly recounted it for us on his way to the payout cage. Kelly says he opened with a raise and Lance Hendricks called on his left. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Kelly continued for 34,000. Hendricks check-raised to 95,000 and Kelly got the last of his modest stack in, which Hendricks called.

Kelly - {a-}{5-Diamonds}
Hendricks - {a-}{6-}

Hendricks flopped two pair and had a hammer lock on the hand. Kelly would need running fives or running diamonds to stay alive. Kelly couldn't remember what the turn card was, but says the {q-Spades} came on the river.

Kelly went out in 15th place and earned a $2,399 payday.

Shannon Scott Eliminated in 16th Place ($1,804)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Shannon Scott
Shannon Scott

Kyle Kinder raised the minimum on the button and Shannon Scott called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and Scott check-called a bet from Kinder. The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and Scott shipped it all in only to get snap-called by Kinder.

Scott tabled {6-}{6-} for middle pair, well behind Kinder's {9-}{9-} for top set. The river paired the board with another {8-} and Scott exits the tournament in 16th place. For his performance this weekend, Scott goes home $1,804 richer.

James Traber Eliminated in 17th Place ($1,804)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

During Level 19, with blinds of 6,000/12,000, William McCracken opened the opt for 26,000. James Traber moved all-in from the blinds and McCracken called to put Traber at risk.

Traber - {4-}{4-}
McCracken - {k-}{j-}

McCracken won the race when the board ran out {k-}{8-}{5-}{6-}{j-}.

Traber goes out in 17th place and will take home $1,804 for his efforts.
