Gene Bubar Hits an Ace

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Gene Bubar opened to 2,800 from middle position and the player behind him called.

The player on the button raised all-in for 9,800 and Bubar was the lone caller.

Bubar had {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs} against the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of his opponent.

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Bubar won the pot and eliminated his opponent.

His opponent seemed like she expected the {a-Spades} on the turn as she was already out of her seat and getting ready to leave before it peeled off.

Tiffany Keathley Building Again

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Tiffany Keathley
Tiffany Keathley

Tiffany Keathley built a big stack going into Day 2 of the $185 Deepstack earlier this week and is at is again on Day 1A.

She is seated to the left of Jacob Seale who had three final tables during the last RGPS season.

Seale raised from middle position to 2,700 and Keathley quickly called in position.

The two were heads up to the {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop.

Seale led for 2,000. Keathley quickly made it 4,000. Seale called.

The turn was the {9-Spades} and both players checked.

The river was the {4-Diamonds} and Seale checked.

"Let me check my kicker," Keathley said.

"What's your kicker?" Seale asked.

"Better than yours."

Keathley checked.

"I got a king," Seale said.

"I got an ace!" Keathley said tabling {a-}{7-}.

Tyler Burke Shoves

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The board read {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and the first player to act checked to Tyler Burke.

There was a little more than 12,000 in the pot and Burke bet 8,000. His opponent check-raised to 16,000.

Burke took a moment. He had about 60,000 left and had his opponent covered.

He shoved all-in and his opponent didn't take too long to fold and give the pot to Burke.

Grinder Makes First RunGood Poker Series Stop

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Hamid Izadi
Hamid Izadi

Hamid Izadi has earned $693,595 and not a single dollar has come from a RunGood Poker Series stop. He's looking to change that here at the Horseshoe in Tunica in his first-ever RunGood event.

The two-time WSOP circuit ring winner has 29 top-five finishes on 142 results. He was convinced to visit this RunGood stop as part of his playing schedule after RunGood Ambassadors Chris Conrad and Dan Lowery talked it up during in Cherokee, NC.

Izadi lives in Georgia and travels to many poker tournaments all over the country and now has added the RGPS to his list of tournament series that he's traveled too.
