It's Time for the RunGood Poker Series Downstream Casino Main Event

The RunGood Poker Series main event at the Downstream Casino just outside of Joplin, MO starts Friday at 7 p.m. This is the third stop of the RGPS All-Stars season which will culminate in 32 qualifiers playing in a televised tournament at the PokerGO studio in Las Vegas.

A few players have already booked their seat thanks to the casino championships at Council Bluffs and Jamul Casino in San Diego. The main event winners from each stop and the casino champions will earn a seat. Currently, Sam Washburn leads the casino championship standings with two final tables. Washburn has found a great deal of success lately, with an RGPS Tulsa main event win and a WSOP circuit ring from the Tunica Horseshoe main event.

Washburn will be joined by several familiar faces to the RGPS stops as well as a strong contingent of locals, each poised to take a shot at being an All Star and testing their skills in a televised poker tournaments against some of the most recognizable faces in poker.

The main event will have three flights and each player will start with 20,000 chips. They will have 12 30-minute levels to book their seat in Day 2, which will restart Sunday at noon.

The first main event flight is Friday at 7 p.m.. There will be two more Saturday — at noon and 7 p.m. Registration for all flights will be open until the start of level nine.
