Svetlana Meinikova took home the second ring of the RunGood Bay Area series in Event #2: 250 6-Max. Meinikova won the ring and chopped with Ashkun Latevardi and Angelo Kratsas to beat a field of 155 entries that generated a prize pool of $31,000.
Once the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) wraps up its Bay Area stop at Graton Casino, it will to Jack Cleveland Casino in Ohio for the very first RGPS Cleveland, which will feature the $800 buy-in RGPS Cleveland Main Event with a $250,000 guarantee.
The Main Event will consist of three starting flights, the first of which will get underway on Sept. 29. After Day 1b on Sept. 30 and Day 1c on Oct. 1, Day 2 will take place on Oct. 2. and play down to a winner, who will get the bulk of the guaranteed prize pool and take home the RGPS trophy.
The RGPS Cleveland stop, set to run Sept. 22-Oct. 2, will also feature over $500,000 in guarantees and a handful of side events that will see the winner's taking home Championship Rings, which were recently reintroduced by RGPS.
Victor Paredes raised to 10,000 from late position and the player in the big blind shoved for his last 104,000. Paredes called with less and he was at risk for a total of 80,000.
