Karn Bets River

Level 1 : 100/100, 100 ante
Papa Karn
Papa Karn

Action was picked up on the flop between Papa Karn in the small blind and a player in the big blind with a pot already brewing.

On a {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop, Karn checked to the small blind who bet 700 which Karn called.

The turn of {7-Hearts} saw Karn check once more and his opponent bet the same amount, to which Karn called.

The river rolled off the {10-Diamonds} and Karn led out for 3,000 to which his opponent shook his head as he turned over {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a pair of queens and a missed flush draw. The big blind tossed his pair of queens into the muck and Karn took down the pot quietly.
