TheRunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Jamul Casino Main Event in San Diego continues today with flight 1b, the second of four starting flights in the $600 buy-in tournament.

Day 1b will commence today at 6 p.m. local time while the remaining c and d flights will take place tomorrow. The RGPS Jamul Casino Main Event has a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000 and will almost certainly surpass that as the next three flights get underway.

Like Day 1a, players will begin with a stack of 30,000 chips and blind levels of 100/200. Blind levels will last for 30 minutes, and the tournament allows for unlimited re-entry until Level 9.

Day 1b will break once the field has been whittled down to the final 12.5% and the surviving players will then be in the money and begin the bagging process. The remaining players from each starting flight will then return for Day 2 on Sunday, November 20 at 11:00 a.m., and will play down to a winner.

The eventual winner of the RGPS Jamul Casino Main Event will be presented with the coveted RGPS championship ring along with the lion’s share of the prize pool, as well as an exclusive invitation and $800 seat and stipend package to the RGPS: All Stars Pro-am Event at PokerGo Studios in December 2022.

Eduardo Parra bagged the chip in day 1a with a stack of 417,000, while other players in contention in Day 1a included Stefan DeLorenzo (359,000), Tavish Margers (323,000) and the only surviving female player Vidhi Seem (135,000).
