Henson Working on Final Chance to Rebuild

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Ray Henson fired a final bullet before late registration closed and is working on building a stack to move to Day 2.

In a recent hand, he raised to 3,000 on the button and got a call from Gabriel Attoun in the big blind.

On the {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, after Attoun checked, Henson continued for 2,000 which Attoun called.

The players checked the {9-Hearts} turn, but on the {5-Clubs} river after Attoun checked, Henson moved all in for 18,000.

Attoun folded to give Henson's stack a small boost.

Jerry Jones
Jerry Jones

After Jerry Jones limped in early position, Marsha Adams raised to 3,700 to his immediate left.

The button called, and then Jones backraised to 16,200. After a bit of thought, Adams made the call and the button folded.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Jones moved all in for about 40,000.

Adams folded and got a courtesy showing from jones of {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

"I was just praying for no ace," said Jones as he dragged the pot.
