Halford Rivers Soliz

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

With approximately 6,000 in the middle on a flop of {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, James Halford bet 2,400 and was called by Clayton Soliz in the cutoff.

Action was checked through on the {5-Diamonds} turn, but on the {2-Diamonds} river, Halford flicked out a single T-5,000 chip.

Soliz called but was shown {j-Spades}{3-Spades} by Halford for a rivered straight, while Soliz showed {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for a losing top pair of aces.

Henson on Fumes After Big River Clash With "Bones"

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With approximately 25,000 in the middle on a completed board of {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}, two players checked to Ray Henson in the cutoff who moved all in for about 21,500.

The player in early position folded, but Lawrence "Bones" Layton called in the hijack.

Henson showed {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a nine-high straight, but Layton turned over {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a rivered flush to leave Henson short, though he'll have plenty of time still to rebuild or reenter.

Bruton Beats Hauenstein in Battle of Daniels

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With approximately 10,000 already in the middle in a three-handed pot on a turn board of {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, action checked to Daniel Hauenstein in the cutoff, who bet 6,000.

Only Daniel Bruton called from the big blind to see the {j-Diamonds} on the river.

Bruton moved all in for 14,500, and after a brief bit of deliberation, Hauenstein folded to preserve his remaining stack.

Elsewhere, Julie Cornelius has reentered the tournament.
