Hart Wins With Second Barrel

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Rhonda Hart
Rhonda Hart

The dealer was in the process of scooping up 1,200 apiece and announcing that four players would be going to a flop, which came {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{8-Spades}. Players in the big blind and under the gun checked to put action on Rhonda Hart in early position, who bet 2,000 and was called by the hijack. Both players who checked then folded.

Action went heads up to the turn {5-Diamonds} and Hart reached for chips, betting another 4,000. Her final opponent in the hand thought for a handful of seconds and then folded, showing {a-Diamonds} as he sent his cards to the muck.

Heinze Takes One Down

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante
Joshua Heinze
Joshua Heinze

Four players limped as action made its way around the table to Joshua Heinze in the small blind, who pumped it up to 2,100. The big blind folded, as did the first three limpers, and then the player on the button called to take postflop action heads up.

Heinze continuation-bet 2,000 on {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and the player on the button quickly called. Both players checked through {4-Spades} and the board completed with {6-Clubs}. Heinze reached for chips and threw 6,200 onto the felt, sending his opponent into the tank. Half a minute later, the player folded and the pot was shipped Heinze's way.

Ace Good for McCoy

Level 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Action was heads up with the board reading {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and 2,400 in the middle from preflop action. Brock McCoy bet 1,000 in the cutoff and his opponent called on the button.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and McCoy bet again for 2,000. His opponent called once more, and the river came {8-Clubs}. McCoy checked, and his opponent quickly tabled {8-Hearts}{7-Spades} behind for a pair of eights from a missed open-ended straight draw.

McCoy then showed {a-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for top pair and took down the pot.
