Play is set to begin for The RunGood Poker Series Road Trip $700 Main Event at The Horseshoe Casino in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This iteration saw a total of 546 entrants in the field, all with their eyes set on Day 2 and what would eventually become the $327,600 prizepool. Only 67 players survived going into the second day, with each one of them guaranteed $917 and all eyes on the first place prize of $63,305.

Leading the way is Gabe Neighbors who ended his day with 766,000 just a few short weeks after winning his first WSOPC ring. He is now matching it with a first RGPS cash and a chip lead coming into day 2. Others who found bags included Mark Lafata (430,000), Jason Crews (415,000), two-time RGPS Main Event Winner Blair Hinkle (345,000), Ben Ludlow (322,000), Ashley “PokerFaceAsh” Frank (236,000), Angela Jordison (215,000), and Michael Marder (166,000).
