Anthony Potis: 99
Blair Hinkle: KJ

The runout came 82A36 which meant Potis held once again for another double-up.

"Well, you figured out your move," Someone at the table laughed as Potis returned to his former chip glory.

Emery Rockets into Chip Lead with Double KO

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Shaun Emery
Shaun Emery

On a three-way flop of Q97, Keith Murrell moved all in followed by a call from Grant Hinkle, but then Shaun Emery moved all in over the top to cover. Hinkle wasted no time making the call and the cards were tabled.

Keith Murrell: QJ
Grant Hinkle: Q7
Shaun Emery: J10

Hinkle was in the lead with his two-pair, but Emery had a massive straight/flush combo draw. The turn 5 didn't change anything but the 8 on the river had Emery leaping into the air as he hit the nut straight in the massive pot.

After a chip count, Murrell and Hinkle were both eliminated while Emery raked in the pot to rocket him into the chip lead with 1,370,000.

Burchfield in the Blender?

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Kris Burchfield

On a heads-up turn, the board read A102K and Jeffrey Cochran had just moved all in against Kris Burchfield who was in the tank.

"Ugh, this is such a gross spot, but I can't fold this," Burchfield sighed as he made the call.

Jeffrey Cochran: KJ
Kris Burchfield: AA

Although Burchfield was in the lead with his set of aces, Cochran could still hit a queen or club to stay alive, but the river was the J and he was sent to the payout desk.

"I'm sorry, I know that looked like a nit slow-roll, but that was really a spot I did not like," Burchfield explained as he scooped in the pot.
