RunGood Ambassadors Preston McEwen, Caitlin Comeskey, and Kris Burchfield all played today's flights and both McEwen and Burchfield bagged with 101,000 and 140,000, respectively. They will be joined tomorrow by both Grant and Blair Hinkle for Day 2 who bagged the starting flight.
Some players who fired in today’s flights but unfortunately did not find a bag include Ben Ludlow, Dakotah O’Dell, Heather Alcorn, and defending champion Andre Allen. In the final flight, the bubble should have burst when Travis Bunce was all-in and at-risk preflop with pocket deuces against the pocket aces of Thomas Houston, but he summoned a deuce on the turn with a signature finger gun and his rail went wild as he scored the double-up. A few hands later, it was Brent Gregory who was the unlucky player to burst the bubble when his pocket sevens could not hold up against Brendle's king-jack.
All 51 players who bagged from the three starting flights will return tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. and will play down to a winner who will be presented with the grand prize as well as a RGPS ring.
Play will begin on Level 15 with blinds at 4,000/8,000/8,000 and levels will be 40 minutes long with breaks every three.
The PokerNews team will be on-site providing all of the updates in the RGPS Main Event until a winner is crowned tomorrow so make sure not to miss any of the action!

With the big blind approaching, Brent Gregory moved all in from under-the-gun for 30,000 and was called by Lance Brendel and Edward Northcraft to put him at risk.
Brendel and Northcraft checked to the river Q♦K♥A♥9♣10♥, but then Brendel bet 30,000 and Northcraft quickly folded.
Once the tournament Director gave the go-ahead, the players flipped over their cards. Gregory tabled 7♦7♣ for a pair of sevens while Brendel flipped over K♣J♣ for rivered Broadway.
Gregory was eliminated on the stone bubble while the rest of the players have started the bagging process. End-of-day chip counts and a recap will be posted shortly so stay tuned!

After a series of rapid eliminations, there are now only 17 players left in this flight, and with 16 spots advancing, they are now on the money/bag bubble with hand-for-hand play in effect.
After a small open from Anthony Potis on the button, Brent Gregory three-bet to 35,000 from the small blind.
Potis thought for a second before making the call to see a flop of Q♦10♦9♠. Gregory then put out a continuation bet of 25,000, which Potis called to see the Q♣ appear on the turn.
Gregory then decided to slow down and checked over to Potis, who then took the lead and bet 20,000. Gregory thought about it for a few seconds and then slid out a stack of blue 1,000 chips to make the call.
On the river 4♦, Gregory checked once more, to which Potis responded by setting out a bet of 100,000, covering Gregory.
Gregory went into the tank for a solid minute before he finally slid his cards into the muck to award the pot over to Potis.

Kris Burchfield opened to 10,000 from middle position and it folded around to the big blind who made the call to see the flop of 2♥8♥6♣.
The big blind checked to Burchfield who then put out a feeler bet of 8,000. His opponent then moved all in and Burchfield snap-called so fast he burned his hand on the felt.
Kris Burchfield: A♥A♦
Opponent: 10♠10♣
The runout of 4♥K♣ ran out pure for him and Burchfield was pushed the pot for a huge double up to over 200,000.

Edward Northcraft opened to 15,000 but then Thomas Houston shoved on him for 65,000 to his left and action folded back around.
"Hmmmm... I've got your hand," Northcraft admitted shortly before making the call to put Houston at risk.
"Ace-nine?" Houston asked as he flipped over Q♠Q♦.
"Yep," Northcraft confirmed as he tabled A♥9♥.
The board ran out 7♥4♣6♠3♠9♠ in favor of Houston to award him the pot for the double-up.

After being called down on all streets by Michael Lech, Susan Riga moved all in when the river hit the board of 4♥9♦10♠4♦6♣.
"Ugh, I think I'm gonna have to call you," Lech sighed as he tossed in the chips and flipped over A♦10♥ for tens and fours.
Unfortunately for him, Riga then rolled over Q♦Q♣ for a superior two-pair and after a count, it was revealed that she had Lech covered and he was therefore eliminated.
