Episcopo Enjoys the Flop

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Jonathan Mason opened to 1,500 from early position and then was three-bet to 4,100 by Zachary Carroll from middle position. The action then folded around to Michael Episcopo in the big blind who then announced he was all in for 26,400.

Mason then shoved for 20,000 on top and Carroll was forced to fold his hand while the other two tabled their cards.

Michael Episcopo: QQ
Jonathan Mason: AK

Episcopo was ahead going into this flip with his pocket queens, but the flop made him feel a whole lot better when it came out Q97 to give him top set.

The runout of 5A did not improve Mason enough to win and Episcopo was pushed the large pot for a double-up.

Birney Bets Big

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

On a heads-up completed board of J81035, there was already 42,000 in the middle when Tony Birney moved all in for his last 12,500. The action was then on Jarryd Hawkins, who shook his head as he thought about this decision.

After several moments, he made the call and was then shown 108 by Birney for a flopped two-pair and he hastily mucked his hand.

Ludlow Not Loving it

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

On a heads-up turn of 3Q8J, there was around 7,500 in the middle when Connor Hayward led out for 7,000. The action was then on Ben Ludlow who went deep into the tank to consider his options.

After a solid minute of deliberation, he took one last look and flashed KQ before tossing it into the muck.

'Wow, tight fold for you," Hayward sounded impressed, "I really thought you were gonna pile it in."

The very next hand, Ludlow opened for 1,200 preflop and then continued for another 1,200 on the A910 flop.

He then fired for 3,500 on the 5 turn but was then check-raised to 8,500 by his opponent and forced to fold.

Barrientos Has It

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a three-way flop of 10710, there were already over 20,000 chips in the middle when Mark Barrientos led out for 12,000 from the small blind.

The action was then on Zachary Carroll who thought about it for a few seconds before he made the fold and passed the baton over to the last defender.

He also went into the tank for a bit, as he only had 20,000 chips remaining in his stack. After around 30 seconds, he decided to let it go as well and the pot was pushed to Barrientos.

"Did you have it, Mark?" Carroll asked.

"I did, if you didn't have a ten you had a lot of catching up to do," Barrientos replied.
