Sanh Vuong Eliminated in 6th Place ($13,232)

Level 28 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Sanh Vuong
Sanh Vuong

After an open by Chance Lawson, Sanh Vuong moved all in for 1,200,000 and action folded back to Lawson who went into the tank.

After a solid minute, Lawson shrugged and made the call to put Vuong at risk and the cards were tabled.

Sanh Vuong: 106
Chance Lawson: A5

Lawson (and the rest of the table) was surprised to see him such a strong favorite, and the runout of 2K2Q7 kept it that way to send out Vuong in sixth place.

Michael Zuro Eliminated in 7th Place ($10,204)

Level 27 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

After some pre-flop fireworks, Michael Zuro and Marcus Webb got all the chips into the middle, with Webb covering.

"Well, you're gonna have to suck out on me," Zuro commented as he flipped over his cards.

Michael Zuro: AA
Marcus Webb: AK

The dealer then spread the flop of J106, giving Webb a gutshot straight draw.

"Queen!" he shouted, and just like that, the Q came down from the heavens to give him Broadway, leaving Zuro dead to a king for a chop. Unfortunately, the river came the brick 7 and Webb was shipped the huge pot while Zuro exited the tournament in 7th place.

Chris Dandrea Eliminated in 8th Place ($7,961)

Level 27 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante
Chris Dandrea

Chance Lawson opened to 250,000 preflop and then Chris Dandrea moved all in for 575,000 total. Action folded back to Lawson who thought for a few seconds before he decided to make the call to put him at risk.

Chris Dandrea: K10
Chance Lawson: A10

Dandrea was not pleased to find himself dominated, and the runout of JJ28J did him no favors as Lawson's ace-high took the pot while he exited in 8th place.

Masters Chops the Pot with Top Set

Level 27 : Blinds 75,000/125,000, 125,000 ante

On a flop of A9J, the fireworks flew as Sanh Vuong and Carl Masters got all of their chips into the middle to create a massive pot, with Vuong at risk.

Sanh Vuong: AJ
Carl Masters: AA

Vuong was drawing dead with his two-pair versus Master's top set, but miraculously, the board ran out 25 to give both players a flush. The players then chopped up the pot, much to the chagrin of Masters and the rest of the table.

Break Time!

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The finalists in the Main Event are now on a 15-minute break and will return to action shortly. The green 5,000-chips will also be raced off and colored up at this time.

Loi Hoang Eliminated in 9th Place ($6,284)

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Loi Hoang

On a three-way flop of 256, Michael Zuro led out for 500,000 which prompted a fold from Marcos Webb but then Loi Hoang quickly shoved all in for slightly more.

Zuro made the call to put him at risk and the cards were tabled.

Loi Hoang: 77
Michael Zuro: 44

"Well, I need a three," Zuro admitted as he realized he was behind, and the turn 7 further improved Hoang to top set.

Unfortunately for Hoang, the river came the unexpectedly brutal 8 to give Zuro a straight to take the pot, sending him to the rail as the first final table casualty.
