Building off the success of the opening event in Tulsa, the RunGood Poker Series continues taking Destination RunGood on the road to 10 more stops throughout the first half of 2024.
“Destination RunGood is more than just a theme; it's an invitation for players to experience poker as a way to explore the country,” said RGPS CEO Tana Karn. “We've carefully curated the Spring Season to deliver excitement, camaraderie, and unparalleled competition."
Following Tulsa and this exciting week in San Diego, the tour will move on to one of its oldest stops in Tunica. From there, it's on to Jacksonville, where the tour debuted last year. That be followed by regular stops in Joplin and Council Bluffs before returns to Reno and St. Louis in late April.
The tour's final swing will take it to Bay Area-favorite Graton Casino and then Kansas City before the Season Finale at Thunder Valley in July.

On a three-way flop of J♠A♦5♦, Tavish Margers led for 8,000 and was then raised to 21,000 by Alex Nurding. Margers then responded by moving all in for a total of 97,500 and Nurding went into the tank.
After close to a minute, Nurding tossed in the chips to make the huge call and the cards were tabled, with Margers at risk.
Tavish Margers: A♥J♦
Alex Nurding: A♠5♠
Nurding, whos flopped two pair was in second place, would need to hit a five to win the pot, bu the runout of K♥Q♦ did not do it and the massive pot was shipped over to Margers for a bug double.
On a heads-up flop of 2♥J♣9♣, Vince Keokham and another player got all the chips into the middle, with Keokham at risk.
Vince Keokham: K♣Q♥
Opponent: Q♣10♥
Keokham was surprised to find himself ahead with his king high, he just needed to fade a king or an eight that would make his opponent's straight. Luckily for him, the 10♦ on the turn immediately gave him the nut straight. The board was completed with the brick 7♦ and he was awarded the pot for a double up.
