Troendly KOs Quraishi

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of 32Q, all the money got into the middle between Richard Troendly and Nissar Quraishi, with Quraishi at risk.

Richard Troendly: AQ

Quraishi stood up as he was in bad shape, although the turn 6 did give him some extra outs to a flush. Unfortunately, the river was the brick 10 to award Troendly the pot and sent Quraishi to the rail.

Kakumanu Cracks Caucau's Kings

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

On a heads-up turn of J65Q, Ratu Caucau and Naga Kakumanu got all of their chips into the middle, with Kakumanu at risk.

Ratu Caucau: KK

Kakumanu would need some serious help on the river to stay alive, and he sure got it as the 9 smacked down to give him two pair and the double.

Caucau was stunned and left the table for a few minutes after that bad beat.

Nat Mucks to Damasco

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante

Rommel Damasco opened under-the-gun to 6,000 and was called by 3 players to see a flop of AQK where the action checked through to the 2 turn.

Damasco then took a stab at the pot for 11,000 and was called only by Arish Nat to continue to the river 10.

Damasco checked over to Nat, who bet 20,000 and Damasco quickly called the bet, but Nat then mucked his hand to award Damasco the pot without showdown.

Liu Slowrolls Song to Double

Level 11 : Blinds 1,500/2,500, 2,500 ante
Yunkyu Song
Yunkyu Song

Yunkyu Song opened to 5,500 and was then three-bet to 17,000 by Shijia Liu. The action folded back to Song who moved all in as he gave a speech about how he was forced to do so, all while he stood up and began putting on his jacket and backpack, his "body armor" as tablemate Francis Anderson called it.

After some thought, Liu announced a call and the cards were on their backs.

Shijia Liu: AKAll in
Yunkyu Song: AJ

"Wow! Slowroll!" Song exclaimed when he saw what he was up against. The runout of A10Q108 failed to win Song the pot and Liu was pushed the chips for the double.

"This is Sacramento, they have it here," Anderson told Song who was still bewildered at what just occurred.
