Stavila Calls the Raise
Level 11
: 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
On a heads-up turn of 9♣10♥5♠3♦, Dan Stavila led for 8,000 but was then raised to 20,000 by opponent, Randy Gil.
Stavila thought about it for a few seconds before he slid out calling chips and the two continued to the river 3♥.
Stavila checked to Gil, who quickly checked back. Stavila then confidently tabled A♥9♥ for nines and threes and Gil promptly mucked his hand.
