Epstein's Tens Send Josset to the Rail
Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jonathan Epstein opened to 14,000 preflop and was then three-bet to 36,000 by Gabriel Josset. Epstein just called and the twp went heads-up to a flop of J♥8♠2♠.
Epstein checked to Josset, who continued for 25,000, but then Epstein fired back with 100,000, which was enough to cover Josset who then went into the tank.
"Alright, I call," Josset announced after nearly a minute and pushed his stack forward to put his tournament life at risk.
Gabriel Josset: A♣K♥
Jonathan Epstein: 10♠10♣
Epstein was in the lead with his tens, and the runout of 8♦5♠ kept it that way to score him the big pot while Josset made his way to the exit.
