Platt Eliminates Sanchez Jr in Massive Cooler
Level 18
: 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Albert Sanchez Jr opened to 40,000 and was three-bet by Jeff Platt to 105,000. The action folded back to Sanchez Jr who made the call to see the flop of K♥8♠Q♦.
Sanchez Jr checked, Platt bet 40,000, Sanchez Jr check-raised to 100,000, and Platt called.
On the turn 7♦, Sanchez Jr announced he was all in and Platt snap-called to put him at risk.
Albert Sanchez Jr: Q♥Q♠
Jeff Platt: K♠K♦
The table was shocked at the huge cooler as both players flopped sets with Platt holding the upper hand. Only a queen would save Sanchez Jr but the river was the 10♥ to send him to the rail while Platt raked in the pot.
