Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Robert Mather
Robert Mather

Level 15: Blinds 4,000/8,000/8,000

After being left short from the previous hand, Bob Mather got the rest of his 35,000 stack into the middle after an open from Aquil Salahudeen to 15,000.

Salahudeen seemed like he didn't want to call, but he eventually tossed out the chips to put Mather at risk.

Bob Mather: AJAll in
Aquil Salahudeen: A3

Mather was in good shape to score a double with his superior ace, but the runout was extra brutal as it came 210594 to give Salahudeen a straight on the river to send him packing.

Dobbins Correctly Checks Back a Straight

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Level 14: Blinds 3,000/6,000/6,000

On a heads-up turn of 2678, Ravinder Sharma led for 15,000 into the pot of around 60,000 but was then raised to 54,000 by Scott Dobbins.

Sharma thought about it for a few moments but decided to make the call and the two continued to the river J.

Sharma checked and Dobbins quickly checked back.

"Straight," Dobbins announced and flipped over 910, but was then shown the bad news as Sharma rolled over A3 for the nut flush.

"See, that's what i was afraid of!" Dobbins sighed as the pot was pushed over to Shar.

Sherman Snuffs Stanford

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Level 14: Blinds 3,000/6,000/6,000

After a preflop betting squabble, David Stanford and Kara Sherman got their chips into the middle, with Stanford at risk of elimination.

David Stanford: 1010All in
Kara Sherman: KQ

Stanford would need to hold to win this flip for his tournament life, but it was not meant to be as the board of Q4763 gave Sherman a queen right on the flop to send him out.

Lee Sends out Stewart

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Level 13: Blinds 2,000/4,000/4,000

Short-stacked Justin Stewart moved all in preflop and was called by Neng Lee to put him at risk.

Justin Stewart: A10All in

As Lee had him out-pipped, Stewart would need some from help from the deck to stay alive, but unfortunately, the runout of Q86J5 did him no favors and he was sent to the rail.
