Day 1cd Started
GOOOOD Morning Thunder Valley! It's time for another action-packed day of poker here at The Hendon Mob Mid-Major Championship with flights Day 1c and 1d firing off at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time.
As with yesterday, with this $600 buy-in, players will receive 30,000 in chips and will play 30-minute levels, starting at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante. Play for Day 1 flights will continue until the field is cut down to 12.5% and those remaining players will then be "In the Money" and will then play down to 10% who will bag up for their return on Day 2.
Day 1ab saw 398 players enter the arena and only 40 of them found a bag for Day 2, with the chip stack to beat being held by Elias Travis with an impressive 870,000. Play in yesterday’s flights lasted roughly nine hours each so players can expect some of the same outcomes due to the fast structure. Today's flights are also expected to be much larger as more players arrive from out of town ready to get their satrut their skills here at the always action-packed Thunder Valley.
Players can re-enter this event only once per flight, and with two flights already in the books, the maximum a player can enter this event will be a total of six times. Late registration will be open until the start of Level 9, so approximately 2:45 p.m. for 1c and 7:45 p.m. for 1d.

The dealer spread the flop of 9♣3♥10♣ and Stanford led for 3,000, Orn raised to 7,000, Stanford moved all in, and Orn called to put himself at risk.
Tiger Orn: A♣K♥
