Davis Wins a Thriller; Some Big Stacks Emerge

Level 9: 1,500/2,000/2,000

Donnie Phan raised to 4,500 from the button and Mark Davis called from the big blind.

The flop was 855 and both players checked all the way through the 6 turn and the K river. Davis turned over Q9 for queen high and Phan shook his head and rechecked his cards before he tossed it in the muck.

Elsewhere in the room, Russell Boyette and Stephen Cleghorn are among the other big movers during the middle part of Day 1c.
