Byrnes River Raise Takes It Down

Action folded to a player in the small blind who raised to 8,000 and Bill Byrnes in the big blind made the call.

After the 76K flop Byrnes called a bet of 6,500 from the small blind.

Both players checked after the 8 on the turn to bring the J on the river. The small blind then bet out 12,500 before Byrnes raised to 45,000. After thinking over his decision for nearly a minute, the small blind mucked his hand to give the pot to Byrnes.
