Romer Extends Lead

Bill Romer from the big blind was heads-up with the button on the turn as the board read 9♣7♣3♥8♠. Romer fired out a bet of 3,500 and his opponent quickly called.

On the A♥ river, Romer led for a final time for 7,000 and the button put in the call. He got the bad news as Romer tabled 9♠7♠ for a flopped two pair to drag another substantial pot as he extends his lead atop the counts.

On the K♦Q♥8♦ flop, Gregory check-called a 1,500 continuation from Todd.

Gregory checked again on the A♠ turn as Todd sized up to 7,500 and Gregory called after a small tank before the 8♠ river quickly checked through.

Tens Hold for Hudson in Four-Way All-in

A player jammed for 2,700 under the gun and was called by a player in middle position. The button then jammed for 4,200 before Kami Hudson came over the top with an all-in for 27,600 from the small blind. It folded back to the middle position player who decided to put in the call.

The table was aghast to see the hands tabled as the tens were in good shape to hold with others sharing outs. The 9♠9♦4♠ flop was safe for Hudson as the board ran out 7♦5♣ as the tens held on to eliminate two players and win a sizeable side pot.

Trimble Gets Paid with Better Flush

Heads-up to the turn with the board reading K♣6♣3♣7♣, Larry Trimble bet 3,000 from middle position and was snap-called by his opponent in the hijack.

On the A♥ river, Trimble fired another bet of 10,000, representing the majority of his remaining stack, and his opponent begrudgingly tossed in the call after a minute's tank. Trimble revealed Q♣8♦ for the second nut flush which was best against the ten-high flush of his opponent as he dragged the pot.
