Huge Double for Sherraden

Quang Pham raised to 40,000 in the cutoff and Robert Sherraden three-bet to 105,000 on the button. Pham responsed with a four-bet to 265,000 and Sherraden called.

The flop came 10♠A♠A♦, and Pham check-raised all in over Sherraden's bet of 150,000 to put him at risk. Faced with a tough decision for his tournament life, Sherraden thought for a moment before committing the rest of his stack of about 500,000 behind.

The turn landed the Q♦ and the river fell the 3♦, earning Sherraden the massive double up.

Last weekend in Tunica, it took just over 12 hours on Day 2 of the 2025 RunGood Poker Series Grand Prix Tunica II to wrap up but it was all worth it for Carl Masters. Breathing a sigh of relief and satisfaction when it was all over, Masters put on a poker clinic at the final table en route to winning his third RGPS ring in the $600 Main Event at Horseshoe Casino Tunica.

It was one of the largest turnouts on tour as Masters overcame a field of 645 entries, which crushed the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool. For his victory, Masters will pocket $60,251 after overcoming a hard-fought heads-up battle with Rafael Lopez. In the last hand of the night, Masters found himself ahead the entire way and managed to fade the two live cards from Lopez to seal the deal.

The flop came Kx4x5♦ and Cannon check-called a bet of 40,000 from Kirk.

The turn landed the A♦ and Cannon check-called again, this time for 100,000.

The river brought the 2♣ and Cannon checked for a third time. Kirk bet 120,000 and Cannon moved all in to put Kirk at risk who had about 230,000 behind.

Kirk called and tabled AxKx only to see the bad news when Cannon turned over 3♥2♥ for the wheel.
