Gendelman Picks Up Kings to Double

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Much of the field had spent the last level more closely following the extra-innings Game 7 on the screens around the room as the Dodgers finally won the World Series.

"Congratulations to the Dodgers. Now let's congratulate the baggers," the tournament official said.

Kai Nicholls then raised to 20,000 under the gun and Alan Gendelman moved all in for 130,000 in middle position. Nicholls tanked for several minutes but eventually called to put Gendelman at risk.

Alan Gendelman: KK All in
Kai Nicholls: A9

Gendelman needed to avoid an ace to stay alive on the bubble, and he dodged the Q105106 board to earn the double up.
