Robinson Finishes as Day 1bc Chip Leader
Day 1bc of the RunGood Poker Series Grand Prix Tulsa $800 Main Event saw a healthy turnout that surpassed the $100,000 guarantee with a total of 329 entries in total across the two flights here at the Tulsa Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Day 1b permitted 21 players to advance to Day 2, while Day 1c granted 20 players the chance to advance to Day 2.
Rex Robinson led all players from flights Day 1bc. Robinson finished the evening with a stack of 688,000. Robinson was followed by Andre Allen (511,000) and John Heckenkamp (474,000) as the top three finishers across the two final flights of the main event.
It was Bobby Randolph who finished with the chip lead across Day 1b as he put together a stack of 452,000 to conclude his flight. Randolph got to work in the second half of Day 1b as he took a low six-figure stack and kept pushing up the standings, which culminated with a late elimination in the closing moments of Day 1b when he eliminated Susie Benzel to push close to the half-million mark.

Trailing Randolph on Day 1b was Justin Dreiling (420,000), who possessed the chip lead as late as the last level of play before he tapered off just slightly to lose the title of Day 1b chip leader when he hit a setback against Mika Evans that put a dent in his stack late to bump him down to the second biggest stack of the flight.
Grant Hart (388,000) also had a solid Day 1b, finishing within the top three stacks. Hart crossed the six-figure mark early in the day when his Big Slick eliminated two players, and he carried that momentum throughout the day as he continued to chip up and hit the finish line with a formidable stack.
Day 2 is scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. local time. The play will resume at Level 13 with the blinds at 3,000/5,000 as players will battle it out to chase down the top prize.
