In the 888th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway, Mike Holtz, and Kyna England talk about a WSOP gold bracelet while out on bail, who recently pleaded guilty to intent to commit murder against his wife. It's a sad tale, but the victim is now openly sharing her tale of survival and the horrific aftermath.
The crew then talks about Maurice Hawkins, who has yet to address the $100K+ judgment against him despite racking up wins and big paydays, and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the new poker room slated to open next month at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
Other stories include the second-largest Bad Beat Jackpot in history being hit, recent tournament winners including Christian Harder and from the Irish Poker Open, and another edition of New Vlogs on the Block featuring JW Wilder’s Parody Poker.
Finally, given it's the 888th episode of the show, it only made sense to celebrate 888poker. As such, Chad sat down with 888poker Ambassador Nick Eastwood, who has established himself as one of the industry's premier content producers.

Action was picked up on the flop in a three-bet pot between Aaron Brosamle from the cutoff and Yi Fang from the button with around 10,000 in the middle.
On the A♠7♠3♣ flop, Brosamle check-called a bet of 6,200 froom Fang.
The Q♠ turn checked through to the Q♥ river which saw Brosamle lead for 5,000 and Fang laid it down after some consideration as Brosamle dragged an early pot without showdown.

On the first shuffle of the deck, following an open, Kendra Lock three-bet from the small blind. In the big blind, David Dunham put in the cold four-bet to 3,500. The action folded back to Lock who quickly announced all-in for an even 30,000. Dunham would contemplate the decision for 30 seconds before he shrugged and tossed in the call.
David Dunham: 10♥10♣
Kendra Lock: Q♠Q♦
Lock was in great shape with her dominating pair and it stayed that way on the J♥5♥3♥3♦J♣ runout as Dunham was sent to the rebuy desk.
