taisyo Earns the Next Knockout

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Hiroshi raised to 4,000 and the player to his right made it 14,000 to go. taisyo then four-bet to 36,000 and only the three-bettor called with some 29,000 behind to call all-in after the Q96 flop. Their AK had a mountain to climb versus AA with taisyo on the verge of another knockout. The J turn opened a gutshot but the J river only paired the board.

Another Knockout for sixsense

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

He may have had the sixth sense to get the chips in when sixsense raised and called the shove of a shorter stack to flip with 33 versus AQ. The QJ3 flop had him well out ahead but the J turn provided an unlikely sweat, which never completed on the blank 5 river.

WAWAWA Near the Top of the Leaderboard

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
WAWAWA
WAWAWA

A big stack for some time, WAWAWA tried to knock out a shorter stack with 44 versus A5 but both overcards came on the A1095K runout.

He then lost another showdown pot but made up for both hands when defending out of the big blind in three-way action. WAWAWA check-called the 1087 flop for 5,000 and did so for 10,000 on the 5 turn. The 6 river was checked and the A10 of WAWAWA were good.

kento19 Keeps Rising

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
kento19
kento19

Over on table 404, kento19 arrived and immediately got the work when he had a shorter stack at risk with AK versus A6. The superior kicker also appeared on the K73 flop and the J turn locked up the pot for him to make the 7 river a formality.

THE Q Has the Answer

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

In a preflop all-in, THE Q needed help with KJ against AK and already prepared the chips to pay off a double when the flop came 885. However, the 2 turn and the 9 river brought running hearts for a flush and knockout.

Late Registration for Day 1a Closed

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

In about one hour from now, the second starting day for Event #22 NLH Colossus by Mission RunGood will kick off and in the meanwhile, the opening flight has officially closed the registration. Some 519 entries were recorded on Day 1a but that number is yet to be officially confirmed.

Several other events are also ongoing in the vast tournament area as well.

Wu Earns a Knockout

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Sheldon Wu jammed in his stack and only a severe short stack called out of the blinds with the 62. That was crushed by the AK of Wu and the KQJ47 board confirmed the elimination. Next to Wu is Andrew Tomoya, who re-entered at the last minute.
