Black Stays In It

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Jason Coleman opened the action from the cutoff with a raise to 6,000, and when it folded to the big blind Timothy Black, he three-bet all in for his stack of 35,500. Coleman confirmed the count, before making the call to put Black at risk.

Timothy Black: AK All in
Jason Coleman: JJ

It was a flip for Black's tournament life, but he would need to improve past the pocket jacks of Coleman. The 510K flop gave Black extra outs with a Broadway draw and picked up a flush draw to go with it after the 2 on the river. However, the K on the river worked as well, as he improved to a pair of kings to take the pot and double up.
