Day 1c of the $800 Main Event for the RunGood Poker Series, held at Downstream Casino had 146 entrants with 18 players advancing to Day 2. The chip leader at the end of the day was Aaron Palmer who bagged up 698,000 for Day 2.
Approaching the money bubble Palmer found himself in a pivotal hand that would catapult him to the top of the leaderboard. Palmer was involved in a three-way all in pot for the chip lead in the tournament, when Palmer and Ryan Anderson got all the chips in on the flop after both flopping the nut straight, with another player all in with two pair. However, Palmer also flopped a flush draw, and cashed in on his freeroll after making a flush on the river, scoring a double knock out and ascending to the top of the leaderboard.
In second at the end of the day was Stephen Joseph (490.000) and right on his heels in third is Jesus Hernandez (488,000).
