Elisa Nakagawa raised to 2,500 from the cutoff, which was called by Stephen Hesse on the button, and Adam Duong came along from the big blind.

The 5♥Q♥6♠ flop was checked by Duong before Nakagawa put out a bet of 15,000. Hesse gave it some thought before he put in the call, and Duong folded.

Both players checked the 7♠ turn to bring on the 7♣ river. Nakagawa bet 20,000, which led to a call from Hesse.

Nakagawa showed J♦J♠, but it was no good as Hesse revealed Q♣8♣ for a better two pair.

Tran Doubles Against Kriventsov

Stanislav Kriventsov raised to 3,700 from early position before Sang Tran called from middle position. Charles Himes came along with a call from the hijack to create a three-handed pot as they took a flop.

Kriventsov bet 6,000 on the flop of 4♠8♦6♦, but Tran had other plans and went all-in for 37,200. Himes folded, and Kriventsov made the call to put Tran at risk.

Tran was best with a set of sixes, but Kriventsov had the dreaded flush draw to crack Tran's set.

The A♥ paired up Kriventsov, but was of no help, and the river was a red card, but it was the Q♥ to award Tran the double.

Bradley Anderson raised to 2,500 from early position before Adam Duong responded with a re-raise to 7,000. Anderson called to keep them heads up as they went to a flop.

Anderson chose to check the 8♣3♥Q♦ flop. Duong continued for 4,300 and was called again by Anderson.

The 8♦ turn led to a round of checks, which brought the free Q♣ river. Anderson elected to bet 17,000 on the river, and after some thought, was called by Duong.

Anderson showed K♣Q♥ for a full house to take down the pot.

Spicer Sends Out Gongola

Lance Austin opened the action with a raise to 2,500 from early position. This resulted in a call from Darren Spicer on the button, Venkata Gongola from the small blind, and Randy Brown from the big blind.

It was checked to Spicer on the flop of 5♦9♥10♥ who fired a bet of 5,200. Gongola called, but Spicer and Austin folded.

The J♣ turn resulted in a check from Gongola before Spicer bet 15,000. Gongola opted to go all-in for 18,300 and was immediately called by Spicer to put Gongola at risk.

Gongola was dead on the turn, making the K♥ river meaningless as Spicer's set was too much to overcome for Gongola.

There was over 35,000 in the pot when this hand was picked up. Kenneth Jorgensen was already all-in preflop; thus, Justin Williams, Abhishek Singh, and Bin Duan took a flop of A♥5♥Q♠.

Williams bet 12,000, which garnered folds from Singh and Duan to go to a showdown against Jorgensen.

Jorgensen would need to hit his gutshot to get himself out of the predicament of being up against the top set of Wililams, but the jack never came as the turn came 6♥ and the river peeled the 4♥ to eliminate Jorgensen.
