Egbert and Xia both checked. Egbert showed 5♠4♠, which was good enough as Xia mucked his hand.
Priyank Shah opened to 3,000 from early position and faced an all-in re-raise from Noel Rodriguez for 10,000 from the next seat over. It folded to Zachary Bergerin, who called the 10,000. Shah also called to keep the pot three-handed with Rodriguez all-in and at risk.
Shah and Bergerin checked down on the Q♦5♥K♣5♣3♥ board.
It was a bonanza of pocket pairs as Rodriguez showed 7♣7♥, Shah tabled 8♦8♥, but it was Bergerin with the best of it as he revealed 9♣9♥ to take down the pot and eliminate Rodriguez.
Registration is now officially closed for the $2,700 Mission Run Good Million Dollar Main Event. Day 1b accumulated a total of 240 entries as 117 players remain in contention. Prize pool numbers are not yet available, but the tournament guarantees that the prize pool will be $1,000,000.

Kollar pulled ahead on the 9♣10♠Q♣ flop, but Fernando still had outs with a straight draw as well as outs to a set.
The 9♥ was disheartening for Fernando as he was one card from elimination, but the K♥ on the river gave Fernando the straight and new life in the game as he secured the double against Kollar.
A sequence of raises ended with Navin Mohan in the hijack and Giovanni Pupo in the cutoff both putting 11,500 each into the pot as they took a flop.
The 4♥9♦5♣ flop led to a check by Mohan. Pupo put out a bet of 10,500, and was called by Mohan.
The 3♠ turn resulted in another check from Mohan before Pupo risked it all with a jam for 36,300. Mohan gave it some thought but opted to fold to yield the pot to Pupo.
Benson Xu began the action with an open to 2,000 from early position. Dustin Iannotti called from middle position before Ramin Malekian chose to re-raise to 8,000 from late position.
Adam Duong raised the price of admission even further when he popped it to 21,000 from the next seat over. Xu and Iannotti folded before Malekian made the call.
Both players checked through the 5♣J♠7♠ flop and the 7♦ turn.
Malekian chose to put out a bet of 35,000 on the 10♦ river, which led to a fold from Duong.
Andrew Moreno opened to 2,500 from early position and got one call from Jae Chung in the cutoff.
Moreno checked the 7♠2♣9♣ flop before Chung put out a bet of 3,800. Moreno called.
The 3♣ turn and the 10♦ river was checked by both players.
Moreno showed the goods when he revealed he had A♣J♣ for the nut flush to take down the pot.
