RGPS: Grand Prix Hits the Grid!

The 2025 RunGood Poker Series fall season is almost here, as the RGPS: Grand Prix schedule has been unveiled.

The new season will visit 12 stops across the country, including 4 brand new destinations. The debut in August will also feature newly designed RGPS championship rings, and aims to provide players the ultimate ride through the world of mid-major tournament poker.

“This season is all about momentum, both at the tables and in the growth of the game of poker,” said Tana Karn, President of RunGoodGear and founder of the RGPS. “Poker is booming and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

Both Arish Nat from early position and Brendan Turner in the big blind put 100,000 each in preflop to send them to a flop with a pot already swelling.

The J♣A♠9♦ flop turned out to create fireworks as Brendan Turner went all-in for roughly 300,000 and was called by Arish Nat to be at risk.

Turner flopped top pair, but Nat flopped better with aces and jacks to have Turner in a bad spot as they went to the final two streets.

The 9♥ turn was of no help to Turner, and the 7♣ river sealed the deal as Turner was bounced from the tournament.

Brown had the lead, but the flop brought more outs for Tannous as it fanned out Q♦A♦8♣ to give Tannous straight outs to go with his overcards.

The A♣ turn created some more outs for Tannous, but the 8♠ river was not any of them as Tannous hit the exit.

Ravi Shanmugam opted to re-raise to 200,000 from the cutoff in response.
