Wan Sends Netto to the Exit
Level 8
: Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Mario Netto and Victor Wan clashed in an all-in pot preflop with Netto at risk for his tournament life.
Mario Netto: 4♠4♦
Victor Wan: A♠J♥
Netto held the slight edge before the run out, but the flop was not kind to Netto as it came 2♠J♣8♣ to give Wan top pair to overtake Netto in the standings.
The K♣ turn and the 2♣ river did not change the state of the hand to award Wan the pot and eliminate Netto.
