Shahin Shojaeyan Eliminated in 6th Place ($19,380)
Level 29
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Shahin Shojaeyan went all-in from under the gun for 1,775,000. It folded to Sasha Sabbaghian in the small blind who went all-in to put Shojaeyan at risk.
Shahin Shojaeyan: 5♦5♥
Sasha Sabbaghian: A♥4♥
Shojaeyan was ahead and appeared poised for a double when the five was the first card in the window, but the rest of the flop was not nearly as appealing to Shojaeyan as the flop fanned out 2♠3♥5♠ to give Sabbaghian a straight and Shojaeyan a set of fives.
The 6♠ turn did not pair the board, and the Q♦ river was a brick for Shojaeyan to eliminate him in sixth place.
Shojaeyan earned $19,380 for his effort.
