William Sandberg Eliminated in 3rd Place ($43,300)

It was the end of the road for William Sandberg after a hand broke out between Sandberg and Toan Nguyen in the blinds.

Nguyen limped from the small blind, and Sandberg checked his option in the big blind.

The flop fanned out K♦J♦10♠, which led to a check from Nguyen. Sandberg went all-in for 2,150,000, and was called by Nguyen to be at risk.

William Sandberg: Q♥5♥ All in
Toan Nguyen: J♣3♣

Sandberg needed to improve as he was behind the pair of jacks from Nguyen.

The 6♦ turn and the 8♦ river did not deliver any of the outs Sandberg needed to eliminate him in third place.

Sandberg earned $43,300 for his finish.
