The RGPS: Grand Prix Season Continues!

The latest RunGood Poker Series season is underway, as the RGPS: Grand Prix schedule hits the grid.

The new schedule has a total of 12 stops across the country, including four brand new destinations. The Grand Prix season also features newly designed RGPS championship rings, and aims to provide players the ultimate ride through the world of mid-major tournament poker.

“This season is all about momentum, both at the tables and in the growth of the game of poker,” said Tana Karn, President of RunGoodGear and founder of the RGPS. “Poker is booming and we’re thrilled to be a part of it.”

The player in the hijack raised to 3,000 and Yuanzhi Qin called in the cutoff.

The flop of 5♦2♣8♥ checked through to the Q♥ turn.

The hijack check-called a bet of 5,000 from Qin, bringing the Q♦ river.

The hijack checked once more and folded after Qin fired out a bet of 8,000.

Moheimani Hero Calls to Double Up

Action picked up on the flop of 9♠4♥5♠ in a hand between Allen Moheimani in the small blind and Derek Molnar in the big blind.

Moheimani check-called a bet of 4,500, bringing the K♠ turn. Moheimani checked again and Molnar fired out a bet of 6,000. Moheimani called once more.

On the 2♥ river, Moheimani checked for a third time and Molnar bet enough to put Moheimani all in who had 19,500 back. Moheimani thought for a brief moment before making the call.

Molnar tabled J♣8♣ for jack-high and Moheimani turned over A♥J♦ for ace-high to earn the double up.

Bell Picks Off the Bluff

Action went five-ways to a flop of K♦9♥6♥ after Taylor Bell raised to 2,200 in the hijack.

All five players checked to the A♦ turn. It checked over to Bell who bet 4,000 and he was called by the player in the cutoff and Keith Eoll in the small blind.

The river landed the 10♣ and Eoll led out with a bet of 9,000. Bell called and the cutoff got out of the way.

"Nice hand," said Eoll as he tabled 3♥2♥ for the missed flush draw.

Bell turned over A♠2♠ for a pair of aces to scoop the pot.
