Nan Chen was once near the top of the leaderboard but recently took a couple of hits to his stack. After Di Wu raised to 30,000 in early position, Chen shipped all in for 222,000 on the button. Wu asked for a count and then dropped in the chips to call.

It was a coin flip and the flop of J♣5♠2♥ put Wu in the lead with a pair of jacks. The 7♠ on the turn and the 6♦ on the river was not going to help Chen who was sent to the rail.

Matthew Gawel has been using his big stack to bully the table for most of the day, and raised it up once again in the cutoff. William Wilson was down to just a few big blinds and shoved all in on the button. The blinds folded and Gawel gave Wilson the bad news.

"I got it," Gawel said before flicking in the call.

Wilson ran into pocket aces and was left drawing slim. He was unable to find any help on the runout and was forced to the payout desk in 21st place.

Jesus Ortiz opened to 25,000 in middle position and was called by Alexei Racila on his left. The two players went to a flop of 8♠5♦2♥ and Ortiz continued with a bet of 20,000. Racila called and the Q♦ landed on the turn.

Both players checked this time and the 4♦ completed the board. Ortiz counted out a bet of 35,000 on the river and Racila snapped him off. Ortiz flashed his 10♥9♥ for air while Racila had A♠J♥ for just ace-high to win the hand.

Tyler Hatchel was down to just 15,000 chips after losing a big pot and shoved all in from under the gun. William Wilson also pushed all in for 87,000 in the small blind and Bradley Miller folded his big blind.
