Not Again for Foster!
They say history repeats itself and for Grant Foster it couldn't have come at a worse time. Foster was the stone bubble boy last night on Day 1a when his kings were cracked by ace-king.
On the stone bubble for Day 1c, Nan Chen raised to 23,000 on the button and Michael Lee three-bet to 55,000 in the small blind. Foster just called in the big blind, leaving himself with just 4,000 chips. Chen got out of the way and Lee splashed in a dark bet before the A♠8♥3♥ flop hit the felt. Foster called and the cards were tabled.
Grant Foster: K♣K♦
Michael Lee: A♥K♠
"The same way I bubbled last night!" Foster shouted. "The exact same way!"
The 4♣ on the turn and the 2♣ on the river changed nothing and Foster was eliminated on the bubble once again with the same hand.
