The field has steadily been growing throughout the opening levels with over 40 entries now recorded. The players are going on their first 15-minute break of the day with late registration open until the start of level nine.
There was a raise to 1,200 from under the gun and four players called. More than half of the table headed to see a flop of 10♣9♣3♣. The action checked to Steven Rochin in middle position who made a bet of 2,600. He picked up a single call from the preflop raiser.
The turn brought the Q♥ and Rochin fired out another bet of 6,000. His opponent still called and the 4♠ hit the river. Both players tapped the table and Rochin tabled K♠10♠. However, his opponent turned over A♠A♦ and was awarded the pot.

Four players headed to a flop in a limped pot and the dealer fanned the 8♠7♠4♥ flop. The action checked to Michael Perciavalle on the button who threw in a bet of 1,000. He was called by Phovieng Keokham in the small blind and Dae Kwon in the big blind.
The turn brought the 2♦ and Perciavalle fired out another bet of 2,000. Both Keokham and Kwon still called and the 6♦ completed the board. All three players checked and Perciavalle announced two pair, tabling 8♣6♠.
"Too many outs," Keokham mentioned as he flashed the 9♠. Perciavalle's two pair was enough and he continued to add to his growing stack.

A completed board of A♣J♠3♣2♥A♦ was spread across the felt with nearly 20,000 chips in the pot already. Scott Downey checked from the small blind and Rip Fritzer threw in a bet of 15,000.
Downey gave it some thought and counted out his stack before dropping in the call. Fritzer flipped over 4♠4♥ but Downey held a better two pair with K♥K♦ to scoop the pot.

After a limp on the button, Michael Megison raised to 1,400 from the small blind. Grant Foster called in the big blind and the button also tagged along. The flop fell A♠J♠6♥ and the action checked around to the A♣ on the turn.
Megison flicked in a small bet of 1,000 and only Foster called. The river was the 9♦ and Megison splashed in a bet of 4,000 this time. Foster quickly folded and Megison showed his A♥J♥ for the nuts as he raked in the pot.
