Aulds Doubles Into the Lead

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Scott Aulds
Scott Aulds

Timothy Vu and Scott Aulds were heads-up on the flop of AK7 with around 12,000 in the pot. Aulds checked from the small blind and Vu threw in a bet of 7,000 in the cutoff which Aulds called.

The turn brought the 3 and Aulds checked again. Vu made another bet of 18,500 and Aulds check-raised to 45,000 this time. Vu called and the 8 peeled off on the river. Aulds jammed all in for 27,100 and Vu deliberated for a minute before making the call.

Aulds whipped over 33 for a set of threes while Vu held KJ for just a pair of kings, passing over a good portion of his chips.

Does Anyone Know what Fritzer Had?

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Timothy Vu
Timothy Vu

Rip Fritzer opened to 2,100 in middle position and was called by Timothy Vu on the button and Scott Aulds in the big blind. The flop came K82 and Fritzer continued with a bet of 3,000 which only Vu called.

The 10 landed on the turn and Fritzer splashed in his entire stack of 27,100.

"That's not a good way to get value," Vu pointed out.

"I put you on a draw, so you gotta pay," Fritzer replied.

After some more banter between the two players, Vu opted to lay his hand down but pleaded for Fritzer to show his cards.

"You know what I had," Fritzer said sarcastically.

"No. I don't," Vu laughed. "Does anyone know what he had?"

George Kalfayan
George Kalfayan

Four players headed to a flop of A64 with around 5,000 chips in the middle. Mark Duran led out with a bet of 3,200 in the big blind and George Kalfayan pushed all in for 12,500, including his phone and car keys.

"Where's your watch?" another player asked. The action folded back to Duran who quickly flicked in a call.

George Kalfayan: A3All in
Mark Duran: 64

The turn brought the Q which vaulted Kalfayan into the lead with the nut flush. The A completed the board and Kalfayan scored himself a double up.

Scott Downey made a large raise in early position to 3,000 and Josh Mok three-bet to 7,000 on his left. He was greeted with three callers who saw a flop of 653.

The action checked to Mok who ripped all in for 18,200 and all three of his opponents dumped their cards into the muck, allowing Mok to nearly double up without having to go to showdown.
