Gary Collier was in middle position and got it all in preflop for just under 16,000 against Tom Andersen in the big blind, who covered.

Andersen pulled ahead further on the 3♠Q♥K♥ flop improving to a set, but Collier was still live with a gutshot as well as backdoor hearts.
Collier found some hope on the 8♥ turn, but the K♣ river was a brick, sending him to the rail.
As James Coyle walked into the tournament area at Palace Poker for Day 2 of the RunGood Poker Series Passport Dallas $360 PokerNews PowerStack back in March, he was not alone. His wife Dora Coyle was also a competitor looking to add to her own poker résumé.
The couple had two shots to bring home a ring and title, but it was James this time who managed to make it all the way to the finish, capturing his first RGPS title and the $32,211 first-place prize after outlasting 569 entries to get the biggest piece of the $170,700 prize pool.
“RunGood runs such a great series. We were hoping we could get them here,” Coyle, a Palace Poker Ambassador, said to PokerNews following his victory. “It’s a great piece of hardware. You gotta wear it for a couple of days, for sure.”

Lisa Schuessler raised to 2,500 from under the gun and was called by Anthony Louden in the cutoff.
She continued with a bet of 2,000 on the 4♦9♠3♠ flop and Louden called, bringing the 6♣ turn.
Schuessler slowed down with a check and Louden bet 7,000, which she called.
On the Q♦ river, Schuessler check-called a bet of 15,000. "Good call," said Louden as he turned over 5♥4♥ for a pair of fives.
"Beautiful river," he added when Schuessler tabled A♦Q♠ for a rivered pair of queens.
Action went four-ways to a flop of A♥K♦J♦ in a limped pot. It checked to the under-the-gun Lowell Richardson, who bet 2,000, and only Hanson Nguyen on the button called.
Richardson bet 2,000 again on the 8♥ turn and Nguyen called once more. The river fell the 10♦ completing any flush draws and also bringing four cards to a straight.
Richardson slowed down with a check and Nguyen fired out a bet of 11,000. Richardson quickly called and tabled A♠9♠ for a pair of aces, besting the K♠6♠ of Nguyen.

Action went six-ways to a flop of 3♦J♦10♥ with just over 15,000 in the pot.
It checked to Huy Dang in middle position, who was the initial preflop raiser, and he continued with a bet of 15,000.
All five of his opponents folded and the pot was pushed Dang's way.
"Aces again?" asked one of the players at the table.
"Only got the lowest pair on the board," replied Dang.
Action went four-ways to a flop of Q♥A♠5♥ where it checked to the under-the-gun Xiaomeng Shi, who bet 2,500. Kimberly Romaszewski raised to 7,000 in the cutoff, the other two players folded, and Shi called.
On the J♣ turn, Shi check-called a bet of 12,000, and the river landed the 8♠ where both players checked.
Shi turned over A♦Q♦ for two pair, aces and queens, and Romaszewski mucked.
