James Lee was down to just 105,000 chips and pushed all in from under the gun. He was called in two spots by Jason Torres and Drake Kemper. The flop came A♠K♣2♦ and Kemper fired out a bet of 65,000 which got Torres to fold.
James Lee: 7♣7♦
Drake Kemper: Q♦J♣
The J♦ on the turn put Kemper in the lead but the 7♠ on the river gave Lee a set of sevens for a massive triple up.
It's been slow-moving since the hand-for-hand portion of the tournament started up with the short stacks playing cautiously. However, Drake Kemper has never shied away from sticking chips in the middle.
Kemper raised to 30,000 on the button and Justin Yoon three-bet to 100,000 in the big blind. Kemper called and the flop of K♥Q♠10♠ hit the felt. Yoon continued with a bet of 50,000 and Kemper called.
The turn was the 9♥ and Yoon slowed down with a check this time. Kemper fired out a bet of 85,000 and Yoon released his cards. Kemper showed his A♣Q♦ as he became the first player to reach seven figures.
After a couple of recent eliminations, the field is now down to two tables and the hand-for-hand progress will begin on the money bubble.

Edward Sebesta was down to 211,000 in middle position and just pushed all in. Drake Kemper was on his left and just called. The rest of the table folded and the two hands were tabled.
Edward Sebesta: 3♠3♦
Drake Kemper: A♥A♦
The flop came A♣7♣4♦ and Kemper took a commanding lead with a set of aces. The 5♣ on the turn made things sweaty but the 7♥ on the river ended Sebesta's run.
Gage Trichel raised to 25,000 in middle position and Sandeep Velkuru jammed all in for 262,000 in the small blind. Trichel wasted no time calling and turning his cards over.
Sandeep Velkuru: K♥K♦
Gage Trichel: A♠A♥
"Classic flip!" David Soskin shouted.
The board ran out J♠4♣3♦3♣7♦ and Soskin had one more needle for Velkuru on his way out.
"You both got two pair, chop it up!"

Shawn Murphy raised it up from under the gun and Jo Thompson called from the small blind. The flop came 8♠7♠7♣ and both players checked to the Q♥ on the turn.
Thompson led out with a bet of 25,000 on the turn and Murphy called to see the 3♦ on the river. Thompson threw in another bet of 25,000 and Murphy looked her up. Thompson revealed K♣8♣ for two pair and Murphy could only muster 5♥5♣ for a smaller two pair.
