Just before the last break, David Soskin found himself involved in one of the craziest hands of the tournament thus far. Replayed by Soskin himself, belting the action across the room, everyone was completely aware of what was going on as a crowd gathered around the table.
"I've got deuces! They never lose! Aces, kings, queens," Soskin pointed in the direction of each hand. That's right, four players got all of their chips in the middle preflop as one of the craziest coolers in poker.
One player had pocket aces, another had pocket kings, and another with pocket queens. And then there was Soskin who found his way in with pocket deuces.
"Deuuuucceee!!!" Soskin shouted. The board ran out 9x4x3x6x5x and Soskin rivered a straight with his deuces to claim one of the biggest stacks in the room.
In his own words, Soskin claims that he has contributed to half of the prize pool thus far with the number of times that he's visited the registration desk. Now the question remains: will he be able to find a bag for Day 2?
