Ashkarkhizani "Sun-Running"
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
A player in the cutoff three-bet to 4,500 and Evan Ashkarkhizani called in middle position.
Both players checked the 9♣A♠Q♠ flop. Ashkarkhizani then bet 20,000 on the 8♦ turn, his opponent moved all in for 25,000, and Ashkarkhizani snap-called.
The cutoff turned over 8♠8♣ for a turned set, but Ashkarkhizani had flopped a set with 9♦9♥. "Are you sun-running right now?" another tablemate asked him.
"A little," Ashkarkhizani replied, and the 6♣ river secured him the pot to send his opponent to the rail.
