Karn Turns the Nuts to Bust Messner

Ernest Doyon bet 3,000 from the big blind on a board of 3♥A♠Q♦J♠ and Dustin Messner called under the gun. Papa Karn then raised to 7,200 in middle position.

Doyon folded as action went back on Messner. "I'm going to give you all my money. I need the board to pair," Messner said as he moved all in for 15,000, and Karn snap-called.

Karn had turned the nut straight against Messner's set, and Messner couldn't improve on the 6♥ river as he was sent to the rail. "Good hand, Papa," he told Karn on his way to the exit.
