Langley's Wealth Proves Short-Lived as Plante Goes on Bustout Tear
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Cory Plante had just busted Ali Fadel when he picked up queens against Fadel's ace-queen. He then got involved in a pot against Logan Langley.
Langley bet 3,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 9♦3♦10♠ and Plante called in the big blind. Langley then moved all in for 15,000 on the J♥ turn. "I turned a straight," Plante said as he snap-called.
Langley showed 10♥8♥, but he was drawing dead against Plante's K♠Q♣. The river was the 5♥ and Langley was sent to the rail.
"What's happening? We need some players," another tablemate said.
